Gibbon FBLA March of Dimes Week
During the week of November 18, Gibbon FBLA fundraising campaign was launched for the March of Dimes. FBLA placed jars in each K-12 classroom to raise money for healthy mothers and premature babies. We also placed donation jars around Gibbon businesses including Pistoleros, Clevengers, Rise and Grind, Footes, Adams Corner Market, and the Gibbon Public Library. We had an activity each day to celebrate March of Dimes: wear Onesie, wear sunglasses to celebrate babies “Futures are Bright”, wear purple the official color of March of Dimes, teachers paid $5 to wear jeans and we announced the top three elementary class winners and one high school advisory winner. The students, businesses and Gibbon staff altogether donated $1,268.35! Thank you to all the families and staff members who donated to the March of Dimes.
