Gibbon Public Schools

The Gibbon girls basketball team won over Doniphan-Trumbull in the Lou-Platte Conference Tournament on Monday night by a score of 37-23. Coach Jacobitz commented after the win, "The girls have been working so incredibly hard and have continually shown growth throughout the season. They came together as a team, battled hard, and were able to put together a complete game effort earning their first win of the season." The girls advanced on to play #1 seeded  Wood River on Tuesday night but were defeated by the Eagles. Congratulations, girls, on earning a victory in conference play.
