Second grade was learning about inventions. One of the inventions in our lesson was electric smart glass so we took a little field trip over to the high school office where we have some smart glass! The students were surprised when Dr. Fisher and Mr. Kelley appeared when the smart glass was switched from frosted to see-through.

Red Ribbon Week October 29th-November 1st Caring for You, Caring for our World! This year to promote Red Ribbon Week, living a healthy lifestyle and helping others, we will be having a K-12 Food/Toiletry Drive! What better way to promote healthy living, than by helping others! From October 29th through November 1st, each grade will be tasked with bringing an item for the Buff’s Cupboard (our school pantry). Below is the list of items that each grade is responsible for! PK-Canned, cups, or dried fruit K- Soup 1st- Spices or seasonings 2nd- Sauces (Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo) 3rd- Dried pasta/noodles 4th- Paper goods 5th- Snacks 6th- Breakfast 7th- Condiments 8th- Canned meat 9th-Soap (Body and hand soap) 10th Hair care (Shampoo-Conditioner, brushes) 11th- Juices or Gallon Waters 12th- Household needs (dish soap, towels, detergent) Below is our schedule for dress up days to celebrate Red Ribbon Week!
