April is Autism Awareness month. To show our support, we are planning a month's worth of fun activities. For the first week, staff and students are encouraged to participate in the following dress up days.
April 2 (Tuesday): Put Bullying to Bed – Wear your pajamas for PJ day
April 3 (Wednesday): Team Up for Autism – Sport your favorite team jersey
April 4 (Thursday): Blend Together for Autism – Rock tie-dye clothes
April 5 (Friday): Go Blue – Show your support by wearing blue or an Autism Awareness Shirt

The Varsity track meet scheduled for yesterday 3/26/24 in Kenesaw has been moved to 4/22/24.
The Amherst Varsity golf meet scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 3/28/24 has been cancelled.
Gibbon Nation. Plan on a normal start to the school day, Wednesday, March 27th. Rick and Sara spent the day removing snow. However, PLEASE be aware of surfaces that could be slick and exercise caution when walking across sidewalks and parking areas. #WeAreGibbon
Gibbon Nation. Strong winds, drifting snow and low visibility have created poor weather conditions. As a result, Gibbon Public Schools will be closed today, Tuesday, March 26th, The facility will be closed. No Practices. Stay Home, Stay Safe. #weAreGibbon
Good Evening. Gibbon Public Schools will have a 2-hour late start Tuesday, March 26th. Busses will run accordingly. No AM Preschool. The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and reevaluate the situation in the morning. Please watch for more information.

GHS cheer held their first cheer stunt clinic. We had 2 amazing senior leaders in charge and we foresee some "building" of the program in the future! Thanks for coming!
