Last week some of the Introduction to Agriculture classes were in our food science unit. After learning about food safety, we learned about marketing skills and the students designed their own popcorn labels after making their own flavor.

Last week the FFA chapter took 20 students to district leadership development events (LDE). This is where the students compete in things like speeches, how to run a meeting, and job interviews. The FFA members did awesome for their first ever contest! Carlee Mashek got 2nd in extemporaneous speaking and is going to state. The jr. high quizbowl received 3rd, Ryder Fries got 5th in Job interview, Andrea Montanez got 5th in creed speaking, and our ag demo team placed 5th. Natalie Bendfeldt, and Landi Weldon received blue ribbons and our other ag demo received a red ribbon.
2nd graders teamed up to do some around the world three-digit addition and subtraction review! They answer the problems with their partner and then check their answers using the QR code.
NSAA 5-DAY MORATORIUM - The 5-day NSAA moratorium runs from December 23rd to December 27th. No HS or JH students are allowed in the facility for practice, lifting weights, open gym, running, or workouts of any kind during this time.
BASKETBALL - TUESDAY 12/19/23 @ HARVARD - There will be no JV girls game and only 2 quarters of JV boys. The start time of the JV boys game has been moved to 5pm. The varsity girls game is scheduled to start at 6pm. Go Buffs!!
