Last week the plant science class and Nursery management class had the opportunity to visit Vala's pumpkin patch! They got to learn all about this 450 acre pumpkin patch, Apple orchard, and flower garden! They also got to see all of the behind the scenes farming that happens!

The Regular Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for Monday November 4th has been moved to Thursday, November 14th. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Committee of The Whole.

The GVFD visited preschool to teach them about fire safety. October is fire prevention month. Each year GVFD partner up with Gibbon Public Schools to raise awareness of fire safety and educate students about how to prevent fires.
