Gibbon FFA hosted the first annual labor auction this month. The FFA chapter was grateful of the support from the community. There were 27 FFA members who donated their time to be sold for our fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who made this event successful and Mr.Tracy for being the auctioneer.

The 7th and 8th grade Exploring Agriculture classes have been learning about different FFA contests. Their favorite was definitely learning about welding using graham crackers and frosting and crackers and spray cheese.

The Gibbon Mock Trial team defeated Grand Island Northwest yesterday at the Regional Championship held in Grand Island. They will go on to compete at the State Mock Trial competition in Lincoln on December 11th and 12th! Receiving Best Attorney and Best Witness certificates were Brayden Montgomery and Kacie Jarmin. Congrats to the team!

These students had a great time and a wonderful music-filled day as part of the Children's Allstate Chorus on Thursday (Nov. 16th). Thanks Nebraska Music Educators Association for this great event. (We also took a minute to enjoy a little treat while we were in Lincoln.)
