As the holiday season approaches so does the concern of influenza, COVID and other respiratory illnesses. We have seen an increase in influenza, COVID, strep and stomach flu in our school. It is important to follow the illness policy. Your child needs to be fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication and no episodes of vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. The following are a few tips to keep you and others healthy: -Wash your hand often -Stay hydrated -Cover your cough and sneezes -Get plenty of rest -Stay home if you have the following symptoms: temp of 100 degrees or more, vomiting or diarrhea, severe cough, sore throat, or other signs of acute illness. If anyone is wanting to order free COVID tests here is the link to do so https://www.covid.gov/tests Thank you for your cooperation. We want to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. If you have any questions please feel free to call nurse Karmynn. Happy Holidays!
