This Friday, May 12th is Community Service Day!! 7th-12th grade students please wear work clothes, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, shovels, rakes, and work gloves if you have them. Gloves will be provided along with trash bags. Lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and cookies will be provided at Davis Park. Please bring your lunch if you need to. Busses will run a normal pick up and drop off day. This is an AWESOME opportunity for our students to give back to our community!! We can't wait to see you on Friday.
It's that time of the year! All 7th-11th grade students are turning in their school-owned devices on Thursday and Friday. Fees for damages K12 will be assessed and posted in PowerSchool by Monday.

Elementary Field Day:
If weather permits, we will plan on resuming the races at 1:30.
ALL GRADES K-6 will have their running events from 1:30-3:15.
Obviously if it is still raining, then we will push this back.
1. The younger students will finish their races (started this morning).
2. Upper grades running races

4. Tug-of-War (around 2:45)

8:30-10:00 Field Events for grades K-3
12:00-2:00 Field Events for grades 4-6

It was an evening of celebration as we inducted new members into the Gibbon chapter of National Honor Society & celebrated our senior members. Pictured is the entire chapter, new inductees & senior members. Congratulations!
JH TRACK Today - Just a reminder the JH track meet will be held in Overton today 5/8/23.
Elementary Field Day is May 9th. Grades K-3 is from 7:30-10:30.
Grades 4-6 is from 12:00-2:30.
All grade Tug of War will be around 2:30.
Thanks to the College Access Grant Mrs. Waddle received, Gibbon students were able to travel to Omaha for lunch at Spaghetti Works and to visit the new Luminarium. This trip was sponsored by Mrs. Waddle, Mrs. Gentrup & Mrs. Jones - it was a GREAT day!
