Preschool students practiced clapping the syllables in their names today! Each clap helped them hear the beats in their names while building early phonological awareness.
Sixth grade students measured their heart rate at rest, after walking, and again after a 2-minute activity. They discovered how exercise makes the heart work harder to pump blood and oxygen through the body.

Kindergarteners are growing into sound detectives! Today, they practiced listening for the short i and short a sounds in words. Each time they heard the sound, they proudly held up their letter cards.
