Thanks to our February blood donors for the Red Cross & Gibbon FBLA Blood Drive. We had 39 lifesaving units donated! Thanks to our blood drive sponsor for February & the upcoming May 5, 2023 - Rise & Grind Coffee & Fitness Center for providing sandwiches and chips for our donors!

We have been in contact with the Sheriff's Department regarding "hoax" phone calls that report an active shooter. These "hoax" calls are occurring nationwide and are now starting to happen in Central Nebraska. Gibbon Public Schools HAS NOT RECEIVED such a threat at this time.

Celebrating February is CTE Month at Gibbon Public Schools! Mr. Miller (ML FBLA & Business/Marketing/Management), Mrs. Zwink (Health Sciences), Mr. Andersen (Skilled & Technical Sciences), Mrs. Stroh (HS FBLA & Communication/IT) & Mr. Bisbee (Skilled & Technical Sciences).

Gibbon Spanish 3 & 4 students traveled to UNK to take the STAMP test in hopes of earning the Seal of Biliteracy. Students also met with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion & took a campus tour.

Gibbon Nation! Gibbon Public Schools will have their first ever Community Service Day on Friday, May 12th, 2023 from 8:30-3:30. We are reaching out to our community to see what you need! Our students can help in many ways from picking up trash, leaves and twigs in your yard, pulling weeds, painting, tending to your flower beds/pots, washing cars, cleaning out gutters, or anything else you may have on your Spring to do list. These services need to be safe for our students so please keep that in mind as you are thinking of what you need done. Each group of students will have adults present to supervise so please know they will be supervised. If you are interested please scan the QR code to sign up.
