Gibbon Nation. The school district practiced its "LOCKDOWN" procedures earlier this afternoon. A "LOCKDOWN" will occur if there is a threat or hazard inside the building. To prepare for the drill, teachers were given the date and time when the district would conduct the drill. Additional preparation included asking the teachers to visit with their students about the drill, the purpose for running the drill, and the importance of participating in the drill. Both occurred well before the district actually ran the drill.

We can't wait to see you at this year's FBLA/Dave Johnson/Gibbon VFD "Scare the Square" Halloween community event. The "party" runs from 5-6 pm. Hot dog meal, piñata's, games, candy, and popcorn and don't forget to wear your Halloween costume. Donations will be accepted, but no charge to participate.
Join us in celebrating healthy choices, kindness, and community during Red Ribbon Week, October 27th-31st! We’re collecting nonperishable food items and toiletries to support local families in need. Bring donations to your classroom or the front office any day during Red Ribbon Week! Each day will also feature dress up days for our students and staff!
