After listening to a story about the seasons, students jumped into a discussion about how they know seasons change. They shared clues like weather, plants growing, longer days and shorter days.

Our preschoolers had a very special visit from Investigator Brandon and our very own SRO, Zach. We learned how to be safe in vehicles, on bikes, and in our community. We are so thankful for our relationship with the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department.
Congratulations to the Gibbon Boys Wrestling Team for qualifying for the NSAA State Dual Tournament at Buffalo County Fairgrounds on Saturday. Gibbon's first dual is at 9am vs. Pierce.

Production Tech 7 finished their pillowcases! They did a terrific job, don't you think?!
Kindergarteners are building a strong foundation in reading through systematic and explicit instruction by developing phonemic awareness, learning phonics, and staying engaged in text by tracking while reading.
Fourth grade students researched, wrote, and presented informational writing projects focused on ocean animals, demonstrating strong research skills, clear organization, and growing confidence as presenters.

Third grade previewed the assessment by clearly walking through directions and expectations, setting students up for success from the start. Even better..hearing students confidently articulate the different levels of proficiency. This showed ownership of their learning. When clarity meets student voice, growth follows!
