Kindergarteners are growing into sound detectives! Today, they practiced listening for the short i and short a sounds in words. Each time they heard the sound, they proudly held up their letter cards.

Conferences will be held Wednesday, Oct 1 from 4:00-7:30 and Thursday, Oct 2 from 1:00-7:30.
Elementary families, we ask that you sign up for a time to come and meet with your child's teacher.

Mrs. Gartner uses instructional routines to support student practice with chaining words. She incorporates Elkonin boxes that are attached with Velcro to students’ desks, allowing for quick and efficient practice during lessons.

Our Gibbon Football team hosted Elementary Night Under the Lights, and the stands were filled with Buffalo pride. Despite the rain, our youth team brought the energy and showed off their talents during halftime!

We enjoyed watching the Buffaloes take on Gordon-Rushville. Thanks to everyone who supported Foreign Language Club fundraiser. A visiting guests was the big winner! A shout out to local law enforcement for handing out stickers at the game! Great job Shimmers and Cheerleaders!

Gibbon Nation. We are looking forward to seeing students and staff back at school tomorrow, Friday, September 19th. The entire education FAMILY of Gibbon Public Schools has the safety of all students, parents, and staff in mind each and every day. We believe the situation is contained and know that law enforcement continues their investigation with of focus on bringing clarity. However, we want parents and guardians to feel comfortable sending their children to school. As a sign of support for those concerns, we will have a police presence on campus the entire day.
